Marketing Studio

From a brief to approved creatives, and what the studio needs from the console.

Before the first task

  • Settings › Brand in the console: the brand and its products, with photos. The studio’s wizard and the planner read them.
  • Credentials › Meta: the ad account, so the studio can read and rank your ads.
  • Settings › Billing: the organisation’s creative credits. Small includes 1,000 a month; top up any time at $4 per 100.

A task, from brief to library

  1. Tasks › New task: a title, a description in plain language, a product photo or a link. Create, or create and start.
  2. The planner may ask a question or two (as chips), then shows the plan: numbered steps, what it will create, the credit cost.
  3. Approve the plan, then run it. The task moves to In progress; several renders become several jobs.
  4. At the review gate, approve, ask for changes with a note, or skip each variant. Key frames come first; videos render only from approved frames.
  5. Approved renders land in the Library. A change request comes back as version 2 in the same thread.

The Creative studio wizard

Studio walks from the product to a finished brief: video or image, the video types, a theme or holiday, the script (hook, body, call to action), the length (eight seconds to a minute) and the layout (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9), notes, then a summary with the credit cost. “Draw the key frames” creates the task.

Reading your Meta ads

Ask a task to rank the organisation’s ads (“Which ads are winning this month?”). The result is a table with thumbnails, purchases, spend and cost per purchase, kept in the thread.

Standing rules

Rules, organisation-wide or per product, are prepended to every run: what to show, what never to show, the tone, the logo size. Edit them from the studio.

The queue and credits

Video renders queue across the organisation; a task shows its place in line and can be moved up, paused or removed. Credits are the organisation’s: Small includes 1,000 a month, reset on the first of the month in the organisation’s time zone, and Settings › Billing tops up at $4 per 100. An image ad and a video ad each cost a number of credits set by Tedooo; the plan shows the cost before you approve it, the credits are taken when the run starts, and ads that could not be made are refunded.
